We’re looking for a detail-oriented Dispatcher to help keep our service team running smoothly and our customers being taken care of.
Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Dispatcher to join our service department. The Dispatcher plays a critical role in coordinating field operations, ensuring that the right technician is assigned to the right job at the right time. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make quick, sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule, assign, and dispatch technicians to customer jobs in an efficient and timely manner using ServiceTitan (or other dispatch software).
Prioritize calls based on urgency, technician skill set, location, and customer needs.
Monitor the status of ongoing jobs and adjust schedules as needed.
Communicate job details, updates, and changes clearly to technicians and customers.
Maintain accurate records of daily schedules, job progress, and service outcomes.
Support CSRs and service management by keeping workflows smooth and efficient.
Assist with after-hours calls and emergency scheduling as needed.
Uphold Staley Electric’s commitment to professional, friendly, and responsive service.
Qualifications
Previous dispatch, scheduling, or service coordination experience (electrical/HVAC/plumbing industry preferred).
Strong communication and organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks at once.
Ability to think quickly, problem-solve, and adapt to changing priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; ServiceTitan experience strongly preferred
High school diploma or equivalent (college or vocational training a plus).
Team player with a positive, customer-first mindset.
